Inspired by their name, which means “Night Trio,” Trio Notturno has commissioned and premiered original nocturnes for flute, viola, and harp by composers including Marti Epstein, Joshua Hahn, Keith Kusterer, Kirsten Volness, and Andy Vores. The ensemble's mission is to increase the repertoire for this unique combination of instruments. Trio Notturno also performs standard works for flute, viola, and harp in public and private recitals.
